#LegalWithTheBusiness: A One-Day Workshop for GCs and "The Business" at the IOD, Pall Mall, London
Facilitated by Ciaran Fenton
#LegalWithTheBusiness is a series of workshops I'm facilitating for lawyers and "the business". It's open to lawyer leaders i.e. those who lead or wish to lead legal teams, and to lawyers in private practice, as well as those in the "business of law" provided they bring a colleague from "the business" or a client from a business with them to the workshop.
It is also open to CEOs, CFOs, COOs, VPs, Divisional MDs and function heads provided they bring a colleague from "Legal" with them to the workshop.
There will be a 50/50 mix of lawyer leaders and non-lawyer leaders at the workshop and the purpose of the workshop will be to address three issues:
1. To agree a genric shared purpose for the legal function and "the business" in the light of recent changes in the legal sector and in business generally
2. To agree a generic shared strategy to achieve that purpose
3. To agree principles in respect of the behaviour of lawyers and the business to implement the shared strategy
The format will be a facilitated workshop and not a series of presentations.
£750 + VAT per participant (minimum two tickets)
