Juneteenth is the time honored celebration of Black 'Independence' in the United States. June 19, 1865, the announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans throughout the former Confederacy of the southern United States. With the emancipation of our African American ancestors it lead to the liberation of our people. Opening the opportunity for those before us to eventually learn, create, invent, hold office, become entrepreneurs, successful businessmen, expression of artistic vision, and athletic competitors in various industries.

The Legacy Juneteenth Day Party purpose is to celebrate and honor those before us. This event will be costume dress code preferred. We anticipate guest to come in costume as any Black legend who has been a personal inspiration. From Maya Angelou to Missy Elliot, Thurgood to T’Challa; this will be a vibrant reflection of our struggle, our rise, and our accomplishments as free people.
