LEED Green Associate Training Workshop

Gensler in Partnership with ACT Red River chapter and sponsors are inviting you to join in the LEED training in order to learn more about the progra. Consider getting certified or simply get a better picture of how LEED Green Associate (GA) and Accredited Professional (AP) certification can help you in your everyday professional life; whether it be in property management, transportation, community planning and other LEED oriented professions, LEED certification can benefit your career and your employer.
LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a certification program focused primarily on certifying green buildings by recognizing best-in-class building strategies and practices. It points system is unique to a variety of buildings based on whether they are a new, commercial-building project or an existing infrastructure. The more points you earn, the higher your rating.
The workshop will introduce you to LEED basics and means to successfully become a LEED accredited professional. The professional credential exams measure your understanding of green building design, construction and operations. The LEED AP exams also assess your understanding of the LEED rating system and your ability to facilitate the certification process.
