Interested in new LED lighting initiatives but don’t work directly with lighting? Join USGBC Colorado's EPs at this informative event that will be diving into new technology straight from the lighting world brought to you by industry lighting professionals. Come early and bring any questions you want to know about lighting. There will be a brief networking session followed by a 30 min presentation on the latest lighting technology directly correlated to LEED v4 credits. We will finish the presentation with a guided tour of the most advanced LED lighting technology.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Examine the Sustainable Sites Credit 8: Light Pollution Reduction in the LEED v4 BD+C: New Construction Rating System.

  2. Examine the Energy and Atmosphere Credit Prerequisite 2: Minimum Energy Performance and Energy and Atmosphere Credit 1: Optimize Energy Performance in the LEED v4 BD+C: New Construction Rating System.

  3. Examine the Indoor Environmental Quality Credit: Interior Lighting in the LEED v4 BD+C: New Construction Rating System.

  4. Examine the Green Infrastructure and Buildings Credit: Infrastructure Energy Efficiency in the LEED v4 ND: Built Project Rating System.
