About this event

Hosted by the LEEding Toward Wellness taskforce, this challenge asks for participants to simply track their walking and fitness minutes each week. The goal is to improve your health by increasing your activity each day.

Choose your activity! Walking, hiking, biking, or at-home fitness all count towards the challenge. Anyone who signs up and submits their weekly minutes will be eligible for the drawing of weekly prizes and a finish line grand prize - a FITBIT INSPIRE! The weekly drawing will be done through a random name generator and announced each Wednesday. The selected participant will be contacted to pick-up their prize from the Lee County Center office located at 2420 Tramway Drive, Sanford, NC 27332.

Throughout the challenge view our social media pages for tips on exercising indoors, suggested trails in Lee County, as well as healthy eating tips and recipes to improve your overall wellness. After registration, you will receive weekly emails with a link to log your minutes starting the week of November 15th!

If you have any questions, contact Alyssa Anderson at Alyssa_Anderson@ncsu.edu or (919)775-5624.
