Event description

Description

In The Merchant of Venice and other plays and sonnets, William Shakespeare pushes the envelope of gender identity. The plays at the Globe Theatre featured boy actors dressed up as girls dressed up as boys. This lecture will open the eyes of attendees to view the sexual exploration Shakespeare put on the pages right in front of us. To be held in the SCC Tracy Gaines Auditorium from 3:30 – 4:30pm. Presenter: Marshall Evans
