The Fairfax County 275th Commemoration Committee is pleased to present an evening lecture to celebrate Fairfax County's rich history. The featured speaker will be Nicolas Fairfax, the 14th Lord Fairfax of Cameron. Lord Fairfax will discuss his Family history and then turn his focus to the recent Brexit vote that has created seismic shifts in Great Britain and the EU. The evening will also feature a 10 minute presentation by Ted McCord, Associate Professor of History, George Mason University entitled, " Fairfax County the Beginning, 1742." Introductions will be made by Sharon Bulova, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
