Meet The Speaker

 

Beth Brascugli De Lima, president and principal of HRM Consulting, Inc. is nationally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources with a state-specific certification in California (SPHR-CA) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has been appointed to sit on the Employee Health, Safety, and Security Special Expertise Panel.  Ms. De Lima is a certified mediator through the UC Berkeley Extension program and has been appointed to the Amador County Superior Court Mediation Panel.  Ms. De Lima is an expert in the HR aspects of employment regulation compliance, litigation, and vocational rehabilitation.

Ms. De Lima has extensive experience in developing and implementing HR programs and policies that relate to federal and state employment legislation, including:

With the unique advantage of being experienced in both vocational rehabilitation and human resource management, Ms. De Lima conducts vocational and HR assessments for use in job re-training, labor market assessments, employment litigation, personal injury or Divorce.

Ms. De Lima takes a holistic approach to HR matters, and has worked frequently on both the employee and employer side of sensitive personnel disputes.  Her in-depth knowledge of employment law compliance makes her well suited to work as a liaison between HR professionals and attorneys in the event of threatened or existing litigation.

CCC Employer Advisory Council

The Contra Costa County Employer Advisory Council is a non-profit organization. 

The Purpose of the Advisory Council is to:

  • To facilitate communication and support between EDD and employers to convey the services available, such as employment services, management aids, tax and unemployment insurance and other relevant information.
  • To host educational seminars, workshops and events
  • To sponsor scholarship and community programs and projects
  • To provide a forum for employers to network and share best practices

The Mission of the Advisory Council is to provide Bay Area employers with information and resources to enable them to operate more effectively and efficiently. 

 

Our Partner is the Contra Costa County Workforce Development Board brings together leaders from business, economic development, education, labor, community-based organizations, and public agencies to align a variety of resources and organizations to enhance the competitiveness of the local workforce and support economic vitality in our region. Our programs and services are designed to help: Job Seekers, Employers, Small Businesses, and Youth.    http://www.wdbccc.com/
