Make Plans to Attend the Leary Bar’s 2016 Annual Scholarship Banquet & Holiday Charity Gala, A Black Tie Affair to be held at the Levine Museum of the New South on Thursday, December 15, 2016 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

Purpose:

Earnings from our banquet and charity gala will be used in part to pledge a donation from the Leary Bar that will assist in the construction of a bronze statue of Julius Chambers that will be placed along the Sugar Creek Historical Greenway to honor the legacy of Mr. Chambers and to ensure his place in history. We need your help! If Leary is able to contribute $1,000.00 or more to the construction of the statue through its charity event, Leary’s name will be included on the donor plaque of the statue. In addition, and in accordance with tradition, funds received will also be used to provide a scholarship award to a deserving minority law student desiring to practice civil rights or public interest law. We cannot do this without you!

Your ticket includes dinner and complimentary validated parking. There will also be a DJ and a silent auction.

Cost to Attend:

$75.00 for individual tickets; or

$375 for a set of 5 tickets; or

$750.00 for a set of 10 tickets.

Sponsorships/Ticket Sales:

All sponsorships and tickets sales, which are not tax deductible, will go towards the construction of the bronze statue and the John S. Leary Association of Black Attorneys.

Charitable Donations:

A minimum donation of $100.00 is requested. 100% of all charitable donations are tax deductible and will go towards the John S. Leary Scholarship Foundation.
