Are you stressed, busy, or overwhelmed?

Is there so much going on that it’s hard to focus on the task in front of you?

Do you need something to help you slow down and be present?

Come to this class and learn strategies you can implement the same day to start living with greater awareness, presence, and effectiveness. This class focuses on the qualities of mindfulness that allow you to engage in the moment in distinctive ways, benefitting your productivity, relationships, stress management, and health. Learn to slow down to be present for the moments in your day that add meaning to your life.

 

Class format:

  • A presentation with visuals to help you better understand mindfulness
  • A specially-designed handout to help with taking notes, so you are more likely to remember what you learn—and apply it
  • An engaging activity to experience practicing mindfulness

 

Class content:

  • What mindfulness is, and 6 of its defining characteristics
  • Ways of practicing mindfulness that don’t require any extra time
  • How mindfulness “works” to benefit your work, relationships, and health, as well as make coping with stress easier
  • Mindfulness exercises to build the skill of mindfulness, including a specific exercise to facilitate relaxation and renewed focus

 

More about this class: No one is expected to share or talk unless they want to participate. Participation is welcome, but it is not necessary. The class can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the amount of participation, Ashley Belsinger, M.S. of Paragon Life Coaching is facilitating the class. The class is limited to five people. Registration/purchasing a ticket is required in advance.

If you have any questions, please email me PRIOR to the day of the class to make sure I receive it before the class and get back to you (ashley@paragonlifecoaching.com). There is free parking immediately across from Warehouse210 in the parking spaces labeled as parking for Warehouse210. There is also a lot on the same side of the street as Warehouse210 next to the ballet academy (at 214 West Grant St), and spaces 8-13 on the right are for Warehouse210. Please ring the bell when you arrive, as the door automatically locks at 5:00PM.

Ashley Belsinger, M.S.

Ashley Belsinger, M.S. earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and Master of Science in clinical psychology. In 2013, she passed Pennsylvania’s Licensed Professional Counselor exam and worked as a therapist before starting life coaching. Passionate about helping people improve their lives, Ashley uses an eclectic approach that utilizes cognitive behavioral assumptions and learning theory, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and mindfulness to facilitate change. She also enjoys teaching and helping people learn new skills and strategies. Ashley has given presentations on a variety of wellbeing topics at Rolex, High Industries, and Mars. She is a member of the Institute of Coaching, Harvard Medical School Affiliate, and the American Psychological Association’s Division 13, Society of Consulting Psychology.
