Event description

Description

I love the fact you are all so keen but this one really is FULL now.

Let me know if you are interested by emailing me as I may run another session, or at the very least put people together in a bit of a network, and can share the informaton we gather with you all.

This is part of a series of very targetted 'learning events' where interested people can get together and share knowledge or ask for help with solutions for their own circumstance. Its all planned to be very informal, and a way of sparking ideas for improving our practice.

The format will be one of a brief presentation/reports from someone from partner project and a report back from Time to Shine on learning from previous projects - then over food there will be a chance for you to ask questions of others, or present your own problem/issue/suggestion and ask for ideas about how you could do things in your project. It really doesn't matter if you don't know anything about the subject as yet - you might just come along to learn more.

The event is open to staff or volunteers from any organisations working with older people who would like to know more about the subject.

'Women talk face-to-face, men work shoulder to shoulder.'

This meeting will consider issues around involving older men in your activites. Jessica from Time to Shine will bring some information from Time to Shine's local evaluation on involving men in projects, and Gareth Muir from the Great Outdoors Project at Hollybush will talk to us about how he involves men.

There will be tea and cake provided.
