Event description

We're delighted to share that registration is now open for the next session of the Learning Community on Scaled Impact on Network Theory & Strategy to be held on December 5 & 6, 2017 in New York City! In this session we will delve into their growing importance and the role of networks in effecting scaled impact. A detailed agenda and materials will follow.

By coming together to discuss practice, theories and research in a structured learning environment, grantmakers from local and national foundations will receive a unique set of tools and knowledge they can apply directly to their education grantmaking.

Over 50 foundations and partners have participated in the Learning Community to date and have confirmed an increase in their skills and confidence in developing their foundation’s strategy related to achieving systems change and scaled impact in education. In the words of one participant:

I really enjoy the learning community and think scale is the most pressing problem to solve for. These sessions have directly influenced the creation of a new portfolio designed to help the foundation and the broader education sector better understand how practices can be sustained and achieve greater scaled impact in school systems.

The Details:
December 5 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with drinks to follow
December 6 – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Midtown New York City

While each session builds upon the last, there is no requirement to have attended a previous session. Thanks to the generous support of the Education Working Group members, the Learning Community sessions are free of charge. Please note that this opportunity is only available to funders at this time. Be on the lookout for a detailed agenda and materials.

We hope you will be able to be a part of this next event.
