Recently, Joe was featured in the BBC documentary Imagine - The Art Of Stand-Up.

Whether Joe is producing, managing, creating, or instructing he is always submersed in developing leading edge comedy talent and ideas. Much to his dad’s chagrin, Joe followed his calling and left the world of AT&T as an in-house advertising executive to start a new career in comedy as Manager of The Original New York Improv. He made a swift transition to Caroline’s on Broadway where he made his home for eight years.
Under his direction, Caroline's built on its history as the most prestigious comedy venue in the country by introducing an aggressive expansion program. Joe oversaw the management of Caroline's Comedy Club, Caroline's Talent Management, and TV production company.
Joe was instrumental in introducing such hot comedy stars as Jon Stewart, Ray Romano, Dave Attell and Dave Chappelle to New York audiences, as well as launching the writing careers of Louis C.K., Michael Patrick King, and Mike Sweeney.
Joe has also enjoyed a prolific career in producing some of comedy’s funniest moments on stage and television. He earned the CableACE Award for producing 117 episodes of Caroline's Comedy Hour for A&E. He also worked as a producer for Comedy Central’s Stand-Up Stand-Up and Short Attention Span Theater. Joe’s credited with signing Greg Giraldo, as the company’s first management client where they developed Greg's life story into an ABC sitcom titled Common Law which aired for 12 episodes. He introduced Chefs Mary Sue Miliken and Susan Feniger to the Food Network and developed their long running series Too Hot Tamales TV Guide called the series "one of the best reasons to watch TV."
Joe was recently featured in the the new BBC documentaryImagine - The Art of Stand Up, and helped launch of the new Laugh Factory comedy club in Long Beach, CA. He currently has TV, Internet, and film projects set up at Sony Animation Studios and Asylum Entertainment. He teaches his popular Beginners and Intermediate Stand up Comedy Classes year round, helping people connect with their funnybone all over the world. Joe spends his free time coming up with new ways to convince his dad that comedy is a serious business.
