Looking to boost your child’s confidence on two wheels this summer?

Bee Pedal Ready is delivering a fun and supportive Learn to Ride and Cycle Skills programme for children aged 7–11 years, as part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

Whether your child is just starting out or already riding and ready to learn more, we’ll help them build essential cycling skills through play, challenges, and expert-led activities.

Date: Week One: 28th - 31st Aug & Week Two: 4th - 7th Aug

Where: Old Trafford Community Academy

Time: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Suitable for: Children who cannot ride a bike a yet or want to develop confidence & skills

Terrain: On the school playground

Pace: At your own pace, sessions are flexible to suit each learner

Gear: Wear whatever makes you comfortable and suits the weather! Sessions will continue no matter the weather! Bring some extra water and snacks if needed.

What’s included:

  • Learn to ride sessions for beginners
  • Bike skills development (braking, steering, balance)
  • Fun games and cycle confidence activities
  • Basic bike maintenance skills
  • Road safety and awareness
  • Healthy, free breakfast and lunch provided every day

No bike? No problem – we have bikes and helmets available to use.

All children must be picked up after the session by a parent, carer or guardian.
