Join Nutritional Therapist Mary Cotter for this lively and interactive gut health education and tasting workshop where you will receive a clear 5-step plan to optimise your gut health (based on functional medicine) and leave with lots of practical ideas and advice.

Who am I?

I'm Mary Cotter, an experienced Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, CNHC). I create personalised nutrition programmes to help you get to the root cause of your health issues so you can be excited about mealtimes again, get out of chronic pain, and feel more energised.




This workshop will be broken into five stages, combining expert advice with delicious tasters. At each stage, you will be introduced to nutritious, specially developed recipes to help nourish your gut. All are gluten and dairy free with vegan options.

At the end of the workshop you will:

  • Have a clear understanding of the root causes of poor digestion and the best foods for you.
  • Have the knowledge you need to support your digestion without having to cut everything out.
  • Know where to start with your gut healing journey (no matter what you have already tried).
  • Gain the answers to all of your questions around gut health.




The details

  • Workshop includes a welcome anti-inflammatory mocktail or dandelion chai latte.
  • Introduction to the 5Rs of gut healing. I'll take you through each stage of the process and give you effective tips and food demonstrations to support your gut at every step:
  • Remove - Food elmination diets. Do you need to do one and how to do them effectively? Meal suggestions using natural anti-microbials.
  • Replace - Discover how enzymes work and how they can help with bloating and poor digestion. Option to complete a simple stomach acidity test and the two-minute enzyme challenge.
  • Repair - Get clear on which foods support the integrity of the lining of the gut and how to eat these foods easily every day.
  • Re-inoculate - Probiotics. What are they? Why and when should we use them?
  • Rebalance - Lifestyle tips. The importance of 'rest and digest' including steps to switch off the stress-response.
