Class Description

Brioche rib worked in two colors is amazing. Even though you work one-rowstripes, you get vertical ribs of color in a squishy, cozy, reversible fabric. And whenworked in the round, it’s a simple two-round pattern. Learn all the basics in thisclass by starting a pair of wristers: working brioche slip stitches both on knit roundand on purl rounds; casting on and binding off effectively; keeping your yarnsfrom tangling; and fixing mistakes.

Experience Level

Intermediate: Ability to work in small rounds using double point needles, twocirculars, or the Magic Loop technique; no experience knitting brioche required.

Materials Needed

Smooth, plain, worsted-weight yarn in two solid, contrasting colors; size US 6(4 mm) needles for working in small rounds (a set of double point needles, apair of circulars, or one long Magic Loop circular); stitch marker to mark thebeginning of rounds; crochet hook roughly US size G/6 (4 mm)
