Event description

Description

This is a FREE workshop for 12 to 16-year-olds* who have experience with foster, adoptive, or relative care.

During this four-hour workshop, learn from professional developers who work at West Monroe Partners. By completing your very own coding project, you’ll gain a basic understanding of software development. We’ll provide laptop computers set up with all the tools needed. You’ll also leave with resources and opportunities for additional learning after the workshop.

Space is limited to 15.

On April 12, open seats will be made available to 17 and 18-year-olds.
You may pre-register to be added to the waitlist.

There’s something for parents too!

Social Media for Parents

During the workshop, parents are welcome to join a conversation about social media. Learn about things to keep in mind so our kids are kept safe. This will be a 45 minute to one-hour open forum for general discussion.

Registration is required for children and parents.

Parents will be required to sign a consent form for minors.

Contact laura@manylights with any questions.

This event is made possible by sponsors West Monroe Partners, QBSI/Xerox, and BECU.
