Bios of panelists:

Dr. Khan Siddiqui - CTO and Chief Medical Officer of Higi

Dr. Khan Siddiqui is a serial entrepreneur - currently the CTO and Chief Medical Officer of Higi. Dr. Siddiqui is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and leads the team in the development of Higi’s products and technologies. Higi is a consumer centric health engagement company that uses a combination of interactive and social tools to help consumers easily measure and track their body, lifestyle and community. Prior to Higi, he was a Physician Executive and Principal Program Manager at Microsoft responsible for platform engineering for the health solutions group. He was responsible for engineering execution on various enterprise health products as well as personal health record for consumers. One of his key achievements at Microsoft was stimulating computer vision research that led to the classification forest algorithm, which is the foundation technology in Xbox Kinect.

Omair Siraj - Health Care Entrepreneur, M.B.A.

Omair Siraj has been a serial entrepreneur in the health care industry for over a decade, by primarily leading several provider/service based start-ups successfully. He is the Founder & CEO – Chestnut Health Company, Inc. Chestnut is a medical practice that took birth as a consequence of the emerging needs in the health care industry due to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) 2011. It specializes in providing customized medical programs through its physicians and physician extenders to regional hospital systems and sub-acute rehabilitation facility chains (SNFs). Prior to launching Chestnut Health, he served at his previous start-up as the CEO of Hospital Medicine Company (HMC), a pure hospitalist company serving several major hospital systems in Chicagoland. In 2015, he successfully completed the acquisition of HMC by IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc., (NASDAQ: IPCM), a publicly traded national company with over $1.4 Billion market share.

Farrukh Khan - Co-Founder and CEO Inference Analytics

Farrukh is Co-founder and CEO of Inference Analytics, Inc, a cognitive Artificial Intelligence company based in Chicago. He has over 20 years of experience in product management, strategy and general management in analytics companies. He has held leadership roles in early stage startups to large fortune 500 enterprises. Most recently Farrukh was GM and VP of IBM’s Netezza ($1.6Bn IBM acquisition) and Big Data distribution sector team covering retail, CPG, manufacturing and industrial sectors. He has held senior leadership roles in Product Management at key analytics and Business Intelligence companies including IRI, Informatica, and at MicroStrategy where he was co-founder of Strategy.com. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
