Description

The need for Resource Families (foster, adoptive & kinship parents) is greater than ever in our counties.
Join us as we hear from a developmental neuropsychologist and foster / adoptive parent, learn about local opportunities with foster family agencies, counties, and network together.

Guest presenter Dr. Paul Baker will explore the emotions and challenges of accepting another person’s child into your home, the dynamics of family culture, and ways to build trust in the foster parenting relationship. Dr.
Baker is an developmental neuropsychologist and foster/adoptive parent, co-author of The Hopeful Brain & originator of The PersonBrain Model.
