Event description

Description

In June, families will work together to Leap into Science! You will travel from station to station for hands-on activities to explore the basics of BUILDING.

Come back in August for a workshop focused on LIGHT. Families will play with light by shining it through objects, bouncing it off of shiny surfaces, and blocking it to create shadows. This workshop will feature a station on the Solar Eclipse in which the moon will block the light from the sun! This Eclipse will be visible Monday afternoon, Aug. 21, 2017.

Feel free to drop in, and stay as long as you like.

Questions? Please contact the Children and Teen Services Department at 717-394-2651 x124 or youthservices@lancaster.lib.pa.us.

This project is made possible by a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
