Event description

Description

Description: We are fortunate to have four women serving as governor-appointed Board of Trustees members at Utah Valley University. Join us as these successful women discuss their roles on the Board of Trustees, why they said “yes” and “leaned in” to this appointment, why they believe it is important to have women's voices in these roles, why and how they are engaged with the broader community, why it is important for us to do the same, how we can be more involved, and why this all helps UVU and our students. This seminar is designed for female employees. Come, listen, and enjoy lunch! Please RSVP.

Panelists: Elaine Dalton, Board of Trustees (Chair), Author, and Speaker; Karen Acerson, Board of Trustees & Executive Director of the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival; Anne-Marie Lampropoulos, Board of Trustees & VP of Corporate Communications, Merit Medial Systems; and Jill Taylor, Board of Trustees & Regional President of Consumer and Small Business, Rocky Mountain Region, Key Bank.

Hosts: Susan R. Madsen, Michelle Taylor, Anne Wairepo, Linda Makin, and Kathie Debenham
