Description

This expert-led Green Belt course is designed for individuals who need an intermediate understanding of how to apply the DMAIC methodology to process improvement efforts within an organization.

Extensive hands-on activities and case study work, enable students the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies, based on the DMAIC methodology.

Upon completion, students will be able to identify process improvement opportunities within their company and successfully use DMAIC to improve the quality of a process, product or service.


This Live Instructor-Led Virtual Green Belt Class is comprised of:

  • 9 two-hour live virtual class sessions that meet from 09:00 am to 11:00 am (EST) on the following Tuesdays between Apr 3, 2018 through May 29, 2018:

Apr 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

  • 10 online self-study modules

  • Series of team-based case study exercises

Students should plan to invest 7-10 hours per week for a total of 75-85 hours to successfully complete this education that is needed towards certification.


This course will use WebEx for the live virtual sessions, which has the minimum requirements:

  • Microsoft® Windows 7, Windows 8.1 (32-bit/64-bit), Windows 8 (32-bit/64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit) or Windows 10

  • 512MB of RAM (2GB recommended) / 2.XXGHz Intel Core2 Duo® or AMD processor

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later; Mozilla Firefox 52 or later; Google Chrome

  • High Speed Internet (Cable/DSL or better)
