Description

Back by popular demand, we will be showing the classic 1995 business novel movie called "The Goal"

The Goal Movie (1995) shares the story of Alex Rogo from Eliyahu Goldratt’s business novel, The Goal (1984), where a manager learns to run a company efficiently using Theory of Constraints (bottlenecks, throughput, and flow balancing) to transform his mediocre division into a money-making machine through a rapid and reliable operations entity.

The movie explains with day to day examples the concepts that boost performance in productivity. An example is the one in which Alex takes his son and a group of Boy Scouts out on a hiking expedition. Here Alex faces and learns to properly deal with a bottleneck, in the form of the slowest boy called Herbie, to significantly improve the performance of the hiking group.
