Lean 101 is a one-day training event that introduces public sector employees to the Lean process improvement methodology. Participants learn about the basic components of Lean, including
- 7 wastes
- standard work
- setup reduction (time-based tools of Lean)
- rapid improvement Kaizen events
By the end of training, participants will begin thinking in terms of continuously improving processes within their agencies with Lean tools.
Location Details Parking is available in front of the building on 12th Street, in Lot H located west of the building, and Lot K located east of the building. Parking paystations in Lot H and Lot K accept cash, coins and credit/debit cards at an hourly rate of $1.50 and a daily rate of $6.00. Cafeterias are available in the adjacent Transportation Building and Centennial Office Building. View location map.
