Description
New Zealand faces many important and difficult challenges: child poverty, domestic violence, housing shortages, youth suicide, drug and alcohol addiction - the list goes on.
Despite the hard work and efforts of countless individuals, organisations and communities to bring about change in these areas, all too often those changes prove to be slow, costly, resource-intensive and - more often than not - only partially effective, causing frustration on all sides.
We all know that strong leadership, new thinking and innovative solutions are required to be able to solve these challenges, both now and in the future.
But what if change didn't have to be hard, slow, costly or ineffective? What if a new understanding of what lies at the true root of all of these challenges could be grasped and leveraged to bring about real, lasting change in a way that works for all?
In this Leading with Influence Series, we will take a fresh look at the many challenges facing society today and begin to explore a new set of foundations and a more solid platform of understanding from which these challenges can be resolved - not only with greater clarity and perspective, but also more efficiently, without the unnecessary wastage of time, energy and resources on ideas, measures and strategies that don't work.
Join Susan Andrewes for the first event in this pioneering series of talks over the course of the year, in which thought leaders, change-makers and organisations working to bring about change in any field are invited to look beyond conventional thinking and learn how, with a new framework of understanding, even the most difficult challenges facing our country and our world today can be solved more simply, effortlessly and rapidly.
