Event description

Description

Hosted by Tagoras, Leading Learning is the community for leaders in the business of lifelong learning and continuing education. Please note: seats at this event are limited. Please register ASAP to reserve your place.

What does the market for continuing education and professional development look like now and in the coming years? Join peers from the trade and professional association world on May 1 to gain insight into the future of the lifelong learning market and discuss your opportunities and challenges.

Tony Bingham - ATDThe featured guest speaker for the summit will be Tony Bingham, president and CEO of the Association for Talent Development (formerly ASTD). During lunch, Tony will discuss major trends in talent development and how these may impact organizations in the business of lifelong learning. Given ATD’s unique position both as an association that provides continuing education and professional development and as the association for people in the learning and development sector, Tony offers a perspective that we know will be of tremendous value to the Leading Learning community.

In addition to hearing from Tony, Tagoras principals Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele will share some key insights from their consulting work and research in the trade and professional association sector and will facilitate discussion. All in all, a very high value way to spend a Friday lunch.

Event Agenda

Doors will open at 11:30 and there will be time for networking and discussion. At around 12:00, lunch will be served. During lunch, Tony Bingham will share his insights about the market for continuing education and professional development and Tagoras principals Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele will offer observations from their extensive work with trade and professional association education businesses.

This is intended to be a high value, but informal event. What you get out of it will be directly proportional to the ideas, questions, and willingness to engage with your peers that you bring to it.

Who Should Attend

The summit is intended for people in leadership roles (in C-suite, vice president, or director positions) at organizations that market and sell continuing education and professional development. If you aren’t at this level and haven’t received an invitation from us, please contact us before registering.

Other than senior leaders from the sponsor, vendors may not register.

Fee and Cancellation Policy

By submitting a registration, you also agree that should you become unable to attend for any reason, you will notify us as soon as possible so that we may make the space available to another qualified attendee.

About Leading Learning and Tagoras

Tagoras logoTagoras is an independent research and consulting firm that specializes in the global market for continuing education and professional development. You can find out much more about us on our Web site.

In the course of working with many organizations over many years, we have found that there are relatively limited opportunities for leaders and professionals in the business of lifelong learning to connect, learn together, and share ideas and expertise. The Leading Learning community is part of our effort to address this situation. At Leading Learning events, association leaders can explore emerging opportunities in the lifelong learning market and develop strategies for growing their educational programs and market presence.
