About this event
Change agents will have the opportunity to work together to learn more about prevention and universal supports for their social, emotional, and behavioral strategies. Each participant will come away from the training with an action plan to guide their work.
• Developing a change agent mindset
• Working through resistance
• Understanding the politics of your system
As an added bonus, you will receive access to a google doc with more tools to develop your every day practices and active skill building for SEL.
Your workshop facilitator, Jennifer Rogers, PhD, LPC, will provide you with relevant research in the field combined with practical applications to develop strategies that work for YOU. You will learn strategies to add to your toolbox when working with children and adolescents to start the school year off. The tools can be adapted to be used in distance learning, hybrid, or face-to-face educational environments.
Previous attendees’ evaluations of Dr. Rogers' workshops:
