Monday, January 16, 2017, marks the twelfth annual Westerville Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast celebration. The theme for the breakfast is “The Simple Art of Living Together”.
The morning will include live entertainment by the Tony Hagood Trio, good food and engaging conversation. Wewill present the annual Fouse and Alston Awards, which recognize students and community members who have put the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. into action. The 2017 breakfast will include a dynamic keynote speaker,
Bishop Joey Johnson. Bishop Johnson is the Senior Pastor of the House of the Lord Church in Akron, Ohio and the Presiding Bishop of the Beth-El Fellowship of Visionary Churches. Bishop Johnson has served as a member of the Ohio Attorney General’s Advisory Group on Law Enforcement Training, is a celebrated author, and a gifted theologian.
The 2017 Breakfast is being held at the Villa Milano Banquet & Conference Center, 1630 Schrock Rd. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 8 a.m. Registration prices for the breakfast is $30 per adult and $20 per student. Seating for individual registrations will be open and available on a first come first serve basis.
Businesses are encouraged to become a table sponsor for $350, which includes 10 breakfast registrations and the recognition of your business as a table sponsor in the event program.
