Description

Leadership Presence and Nonverbal Communication Workshop

Do you know the 55/38/7 rule? It is widely believed that 55% of communication is body language, 38% is the tone of voice, and 7% are the actual words! Non-verbal communication in business is as important a vehicle of communication as any verbal message. Whether you are just starting your management career, moving up the org chart or brushing off your skill set, this workshop is for you. Learn from the Master! Former Cirque du Soleil Clown Jeff Raz conducts an on your feet workshop to build rapport and physical presence, craft compelling stories, and bring heart and authenticity to leadership. Jeff is an internationally sought after consultant working with Fortune 100 executives to use their physical presence to develop confidence in presentations and communication.

Jeff Raz: Jeff is an acclaimed performer who has appeared on Broadway and in a featured role with Cirque du Soleil. He has trained performers at professional theaters and acting conservatories including the Tony-award winning American Conservatory Theater, Cirque du Soleil and New York University and executives from Beijing to Berlin for clients such as Cisco and Deloitte. In 2000, Jeff founded the country's only comprehensive professional clown training program. He is the author of two books: Snow Clown and The Secret Life of Clowns, which was launched at the Smithsonian in 2017 and is now available at www.jeffraz.com, Books Inc. Alameda or Amazon.

“You don’t realize how language actually interferes with communication until you don’t have it, how it gets in the way like an over dominant sense…Once comprehension comes, so much else falls away. You then rely on their words, and words aren’t always the most reliable thing.”
- Lily King from her book “Euphoria,” a novel based on the life of Margaret Mead

This workshop is available in-person only.
