LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS EXCHANGE (LEE) WORKSHOP for Federal Executives
In Support of Federal Executive On-Boarding & Continuing Executive Development
THIS WORKSHOP IS ONLY FOR CURRENT EXECUTIVES
**Please Remember to Bring Your Government ID**
This workshop is part of an effort to assist agencies with both meeting the Executive Onboarding requirements as outlined in the Executive Order--Strengthening the SES, as well as in support of the ongoing development of current SES. It is being offered by the U.S Office of Personnel Management, in partnership with The Federal Consulting Group (FCG), which is part of Department of Interior and in partnership with the San Francisco Bay Area Federal Executive Board.
The LEE workshop is a highly interactive, inter-agency workshop experience that allows Federal Executives to help each other, as peers, to find new approaches and strategies for meeting difficult leadership challenges.
Participants choose a leadership challenge they are facing today to work on as part of the LEE workshop. All sessions are confidential and table groups will be composed of an inter-agency mix.
Here are some representative comments from Federal Executives that attended the LEE workshop:
• “Really helped me to realize I was not alone in facing these types of leader challenges.”
• “Best use of my time in years in a leadership workshop.”
• “This process gave me a problem solving perspective that I might not have otherwise obtained.”
• “I am more relaxed, less stressed and less anxious around the leadership challenge I am facing.”
All Agency SES members are encouraged to participate in order to directly experience this unique peer-based approach to helping increase their Executive effectiveness back on the job. Only current Federal Executives (e.g., SES) may attend.
Note: The LEE workshop meets the requirements of Executive Order—Strengthening the SES requiring Federal Executives to attend an executive level training event as part of their EDP.
There will be one morning workshop (8:30am-12pm) and one afternoon workshop (1pm-4:30pm). Thirty-six (36) spaces are available in each workshop, at no cost. All LEE workshops follow the same format, as the purpose is to provide you an environment that is conducive to working with fellow Executives on the difficult challenges you are facing today.
The workshop is scheduled for February 28, 2017 at the Phillip Burton Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Ave., 2nd Floor – Arizona Room, San Francisco Civic Center Muni/BART, San Francisco, CA 94103
