The Leadership Effectiveness Exchange (LEE) Workshop for Federal Managers (in Denver) :
Managers Helping Managers to Find New Approaches to Dealing with Difficult Leadership Challenges
The Leadership Effectiveness Exchange (LEE) for Federal Managers is a free inter-agency workshop, put on by the Depertment of the Interior, that allows federal managers to help each other, as peers, to find new approaches and strategies for meeting difficult leadership challenges. Participants choose a leadership challenge they are facing today to work on as part of the LEE workshop. All sessions are confidential and table seating is assigned to assure as much of an inter-agency mix as possible. This session is open to current federal managers only, i.e., you must do a performance appraisal on AT LEAST one Federal supervisor to attend.
Here are some representative comments from Federal leaders that have attended the LEE workshop:
• “Really helped me to realize I was not alone in facing these types of leader challenges.”
• “Best use of my time in years in a leadership workshop.”
• “This process gave me a problem solving perspective that I might not have otherwise obtained.”
• “I am more relaxed, less stressed and less anxious around the leadership challenge I am facing.”
Please note that all LEE workshops follow the same format, as the purpose is to provide an environment that is conducive to working with fellow Managers on the difficult challenges you are facing today.
