There are three parts to this learning experience, and you are invited to attend any and all that you wish! FAQ’s:

Where will the workshop(s) take place?

All workshops will take place at The Golden Hotel in colorful Golden, Colorado just west of Denver in the Golden Vista room. This quaint, historic town offers all types of activities including creek-side walking trails, rafting, hiking, breweries, shopping and historical walking tours. We consistently receive rave reviews on this location! This time of year in Golden will be beautiful, as it’s peak season for the aspen trees to be changing colors. Be sure to add in an extra day or two for taking in the sights if you can! You can learn more about what there is to do in the area HERE.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Denver International Airport is the closest airport to the event venue - The Golden Hotel. It's about a 40- minute car ride to the hotel. You may book a shuttle through Golden West Airport Shuttle straight from the airport that will drop you directly at the hotel. The shuttle is much more reasonably priced than Uber or a taxi. You are also able to book a round-trip ticket that will have the shuttle waiting for you at your requested time to take you back to the airport. If you have a vehicle, parking at the hotel is free. It is expected that you stay through the published end time of the session, so please book return travel accordingly.

Where should I book hotel?

The Golden Hotel is a lovely venue in the center of Golden, and most participants prefer to stay onsite here, where the workshop will take place. You can easily walk across the street for a variety of restaurants and shopping. No car is required to explore the area. Please make a reservation ASAP at the hotel directly by calling 800.233.7214, as rooms are filling up quickly with the aspens changing color! The Table Mountain Inn is also located in the center of Golden, within an easy 5-minute walk of The Golden Hotel, should you wish to book there. The Courtyard Marriott Denver West/Golden is also nearby; however, it is not within walking distance of The Golden Hotel.

What people are saying about our leadership development experiences:

“I am energized and inspired from this experience, and I want more! I most appreciate Jo’s expertise with data analyses and years of LPI coaching. Jo is a passionate facilitator and coach and had a unique way of connecting with each one of us. Truly a Master! You have inspired me to engage in more coaching within my organization and accelerate my growth as an LPI coach for others. I would like even more opportunities to learn from you!”

- Brittany Majka, Enterprise Talent Management and Professional Development

Lockheed Martin Corporation

_________

“Jo is a wealth of information and she was very engaging. I appreciated her casual but focused approach. She was definitely in tune with the learning needs of the people in the class. Even after using the LPI for 13 years, I learned a lot especially with the connections between the behaviors and the data patterns for different needs in coaching. Overall, this was an exceptional investment. My suggestions are to expand this workshop to 3 days and to add follow-up conference calls or webinars to advance development.”

- Bill Burtch, President and Founder, Harmony Coaching & Consulting

Certified Professional Coach (CPC)

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

_________

“This LPI workshop was outstanding and enjoyable! It exceeded my expectations in how much I learned from your expertise and your obvious conviction about approaching the LPI through data interpretation to be more effective for LPI coaching. It opened my eyes wider to the research and the resources to look further into the data and make coaching more meaningful. My only suggestions are to expand this to 2 days to give an assortment of LPI samples to use in the data interpretation practices and follow-up opportunities to learn more from you as an expert. Thank you!”

- Ron Seirs, Jr., Associate Professor, Salisbury University, Maryland

Co-Owner, Ascendant Global Leadership, LLC

________

“Jo is an excellent instructor and has an amazing niche with the LPI that I have not witnessed with any other Master Coach. Her years of research with LPI data from a wide range of leaders and LPI coaching heightened my awareness that there is much more to the LPI than I knew. Jo blended theory plus practice, giving me an array of insights on how to interpret the LPI data and coach others. Jo’s description of the LPI behaviors expanded my understanding of them individually and the interrelationship between them. Jo’s depth of knowledge is amazing and her willingness to share the wealth of her wisdom is refreshing. If you do this workshop again or make it 2 days in length in the future, I would like to come back to have even more time to practice interpreting several more LPIs with your guidance. I am leaving this workshop feeling inspired by your passion and conviction! I would also like to follow-up with you for one-on-one mentoring to continue developing. As I look back on my approach to the LPI before this workshop, it is obvious to me now there is much more to offer in LPI coaching for development. Thank you!”

Donna Warner, Director, Local Elected Leaders Academy

University of North Carolina School of Government

_______

“I gained so many insights I don’t have enough room on this page to include my breadth of learning! It took my somewhat simplistic understanding of the LPI to a new and higher level of complexity. This will create greater value for those who I will use the LPI with, in advising doctoral students studying leadership and in my research-related activities associated with school boards. Jo was authentic and supportive! She is an excellent facilitator and coach. She conveyed sincerity in her responses and is passionate about the LPI data analyses and coaching.”

James Fox, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Research and Administration

The University of Southern Mississippi

_______

“I couldn't be happier with how the training program turned out!  Amy did such a great job sharing her expertise and helping me see the LPI (and its usefulness) in a whole new light.  I found Amy to be such a great ambassador for what The Leadership Challenge is all about.”

- Rob Acosta

Founder and Lead Facilitator, Leadership Interactive, LLC

 _______

The way in which Amy took our nurse leaders through the content was exactly what they needed. It was an interactive learning environment that allowed for several types of learning styles. Amy skillfully guided us through each of the Five Practices, making sure to draw out discussion on key points for the nurse leaders. The work that we did together especially on vision was powerful for our leaders – they truly felt energized and invigorated to go back into their work environments and bring their visions to life. As a minority group in an incredibly competitive field, it was very important for our nurses to identify and feel empowered in their personal visions, and Amy recognized that. She is intuitive with a strong sense of where the group needs to go for their own learning and development, and has an excellent grasp on the content.”
