Event description

Description

[toughproblem] and Powered Up People have launched a workshop for ambitious people looking for the secret edge to success and meaning at work.

Combining their core content and methodology, Peter Vozvoteca and Wendy Somerville have teamed up to deliver 'Leadership and Innovation the Human Centered Way' - a humanistic approach to creating value for business.

This course combines success mindsets like the growth mindset with the human centered design (HCD) process to demonstrate how to maximise our thinking and learning capacity to approach and design high value services and solutions.

The workshop content is scalable, so you don’t have to be in a ‘design team’ to benefit, and we spend time considering how to adapt these approaches to suit various projects and business situations.

If you want a positive thinking, collaborative innovator in your team whocan bring back some insightful approaches - send someone along!

Learning Experience & Outcomes:

You will:

  • Learn to work with various human-centred mind-sets that will allow you to ‘sit in the dirt’ and uncover the heart of problems
  • Learn to manage your mindset and positively influence the mindset of others to encourage collaborative solution-focused exchanges
  • Learn to find patterns and relationships that spark new perspectives and ideas>
  • Learn to create compelling visualisations of complex conversations that really help improve the quality of your team’s ideas and success of their projects
