LEAD Lunch & Learn: Voting 101
Event Information
About this event
Nothing is more fundamental to our democracy than the right to vote. A system of fair and open elections in which all qualified citizens — regardless of gender, race, socioeconomic status, or any other category — may cast a vote and have it accurately counted is the backbone of our democracy.
Voting is an important way to make your voice heard and participate in the democratic process. But with changes and conflicting information, it's easy to feel intimidated by the voting process. How do you vote? What's on the ballot?
Join us for lunch and learn from our expert panelists about the 2022 Election and ensure that you are inspired to SHARE YOUR VOICE on election day.
Following the panel presentation, we will honor 14 recipients of the 2021 Spirit of Community Awards for their dedicated work in their communities.
This non-partisan event is FREE and open to the public, but advanced registration is required.
