Bill Marcus has been involved in the management of several companies in various capacities. From February 2016 to present, he is the senior managing director of HedgeCoVest LLC.He also served as senior managing director of Asset Alliance Corporation (AAC) and Hedge Harbor Incorporated. He also served as senior managing director of Crowd Alliance, an interactive marketplace for investors and entrepreneurs. Before AAC, he had senior management roles at industry-leading institutional brokers.He helped Newedge Group to be the largest institutional futures and options broker globally. At Newedge he is the authority in business development and coordination between and among global offices, staff and the various parent groups within Credit Agricole and SocGen banks. Prior to Newedge, Marcus worked as top global executive and sales management at leading firms Carr Futures, Calyon Financial, Bear Stearns, Sakura Dellsher Inc, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and Discount Corporation of New York Futures. He has ongoing access to management of the world’s largest hedge funds, money managers, institutional investors, asset allocators, and wealth management firms. He has spent the past 6 years in investing and advising many early stage entrepreneurial companies in the fields of entertainment, media streaming, technology, promotion, advertising, consumer good, law enforcement, cybersecurity, health, fitness and defense. He specializes in managing complex institutional relationships and people; venture capital and fund raising; building staff, products as well as early, and late stage growing companies; and, relationship, sales management and business development. Marcus obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees, in Schools of Management (LLP) and Visual & Performing Arts (SPC) fas well as Law & Public Policy and Speech rom the Syracuse University in 1982. He also completed the first year program of his MBA from the Harvard Business School. His interests include climate, energy and water conservation; motion picture as well as live and recorded music industry and related projects/raising capital; as well as consulting and trading.
