Event description

Description

This event will be hosted by the League of California Cities Latino Caucus, City of Redwood City Councilmember Alicia Aguirre, San Jose City Councilmember Raul Peralez, Sacramento City Vice Mayor Eric Guerra, and Sonoma City Mayor Madolyn Agrimonti.

The Latino Caucus is proud to conduct its 4th annual call to action, it is important to us to use Cinco de Mayo to come together for an important conversation about core principles and practical solutions on many issues and to assess the state of Latinos in California, this year we will take on Latinos in Tech. The Latino community will double in population in the next 30 years, and yet, less than 3% of them are in the high-tech industry. This year’s program will feature two panels; we start with a discussion with high-level representatives to assess where Latinos in tech are now and where they are going and the second panel will explore the real-world stories and strategies of Latinos in tech today.

Breakfast will start at 8:00 am and the program will begin at 9:00am. Come connect with your community and help us reclaim Cinco.
