The LBCC Business Club cordially invites you to the Department of Business Administration's event, AIM for Success. AIM stands for Achieve, Inspire, and Motivate and our 2 hour event will do just that!

David Urbina
Founder and CEO of Neon AR
Neon AR is an LA-based startup focused on bringing people together through augmented reality. Neon’s mobile app allows users to find their friends in crowded outdoor environments by utilizing the app’s AR-powered camera. An alumni of USC’s Cinematic Arts program, David’s career originates in entertainment where as a film editor he worked on over 30 movies and was mentored by the Oscar-winning editor of Rocky. As a screenwriter he’s had projects in development at Fox and Mandalay and in 2015 sold a 4-part miniseries to Snapchat for their original content channel “Discover”.
Don Rodriguez
Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach
Rodriguez began his career as founder and owner of a successful Farmers Insurance Agency known as Donald Rodriguez Insurance. He was recognized by Farmers for his outstanding sales performance and received numerous awards for his achievements. He joined the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood in 1992, and between 1997 and 2001 served as Executive Director. At the Hollywood Club he was instrumental in turning a failing operation into its current thriving status. Having grown up in the Hollywood area, he was a club member from 1967-1972.
George Heuser
Founder & CEO of Circle Metals, Reliance Metal Center, SAS Safety Corp.
George lived his entire childhood helping his siblings and parents financially. That situation still exists, except included are a couple other generations! He put himself through college earning a bachelors degree, while working full time in construction. Attended one day towards getting a Masters! George is a serial Entrepreneur that started at age 20. The hardship growing up was a blessing, as it prepared him to take on tough situations head on, while seeking out opportunities in business. Sold his most recent business in 2016, and became a frequent guest speaker and business consultant. Married with three amazing children and five wonderful grandkids......and one dog.
Jeff Hoffman
President, Jeff Hoffman & Associates, Global CSR, Philanthropy and Civic Engagement Leader, The Conference Board, Institute on Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy
Jeff Hoffman is an accomplished corporate executive who has served on the global stage in the areas of corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, human resources, operations, special projects and events. Through board and commission leadership roles, he has a distinguished history working with business, non-profit, civic and government agencies on strategic direction and innovative programs. Jeff has a professional portfolio made up of four components: His consulting business, Jeff Hoffman & Associates; Leader of the Institute for Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy at The Conference Board; Corporate Governance; and Pro Bono Volunteering/Service. Working at The Walt Disney Company for 31 years, Jeff most recently served as Vice President of Disney Worldwide Outreach. In this role, he had global responsibility for Disney’s philanthropy, community relations and cause marketing activities including its award-winning employee volunteer program, Disney VoluntEARS.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This event is hosted at Long Beach City College which means parking rates do apply. Day passes for any lot on LBCC LAC Campus is $2.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. The ticket is strictly for our benefit to know how many people are attending.
What happens if the event sells out? Will I still be able to get in?
YES!!! The tickets are free and for us to know how to better accomodate our guests. Doors are open to everybody and seating is on first come, first serve basis.
