Join us for a rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Port of Baltimore. Learn about the Port's economic impact on our region, hear about its future plans and then hop on our bus and tour two terminals (Dundalk and Seagirt are scheduled). This tour is not generally open to the public and has been arranged especially for LBC.
We will be meeting at the CareFirst building in Canton on the 17th floor. Parking will be available in the surface lot on Clinton Street. Bring your parking stub in with you for validation.
- 7:30 - 8:00 Breakfast and networking
- 8:00 - 8:45 Presentation: Economic Impact of the Port
- 8:45 - 10:00 Take a bus over to the Port to get ID badges, and tour terminals. We aim to be back at the CareFirst building by 10 am.

Leadership Baltimore County
Leadership Baltimore County, founded in 1983, builds the leadership effectiveness of participants, educates them about the challenges and opportunities facing Baltimore County and the region, and facilitates increased civic engagement to improve the quality of life for all. Beginning with a 10-month program, LBC provides a unique opportunity to bring together participants from prominent large and small businesses, education, nonprofits, government, and community agencies to learn and understand each other’s different perspective on any given topic. Speakers include noted subject matter experts and county and state officials. Networking opportunities abound, including a membership of 1100+ business and community leaders.
