Laxcity is a Sheffield, UK-based, Ndola, Zambia-born artist whose imaginative music draws on intricate soundscapes to create immersive electronica with emotional resonance.
2021 saw him drop 2018 – 2021 – a time capsule that captures the now-unmistakable Laxcity sound, with its whirring synths and sonic polish – a collaborative single with Moore Kismet; and “melodies from heaven,” a lush tribute to his Christian upbringing and his first foray into analog synths. He also played Porter Robinson’s “Secret Sky” and toured Europe with DROELOE.
Laxcity's first headline show was sold-out January, 2022, in London. He is releasing a new 8-track project in July, and embarking on a mini-Canada tour in June.
