The Lawyers in the Library series brings lawyers into the library so that guests can become more educated and ask for legal direction without paying to visit an attorney. This evening, Attorney John Miles will focus on asset preservation and estate planning including wills, trusts, advance medical directives, and powers of attorney. Bring your questions and we will provide the coffee and the expert.
Lawyers in the Library is a free program presented by Gwinnett County Public Library. It will take place on December 7 at 6:30pm at our Suwanee Branch, 361 Main Street, Suwanee, GA 30024.
By participating in this “Lawyers in the Library” session the attorney advising you is not agreeing to represent you. He will listen to your question; provide you limited legal advice; and assist you in better understanding your options and the procedure in court. If your matter is complex, then you will be advised to seek further legal counsel. The attorney will not represent you in an on-going matter. He will not go to a hearing or trial with you, prepare your case for trial, or provide any legal help other than providing you with limited advice today.
