About this event

Maureen Paley and Claire de Rouen are pleased to announce the launch of Lawrence Abu Hamdan’s first major monograph Dirty Evidence. This richly illustrated publication delivers a comprehensive overview of Lawrence Abu Hamdan's practice over the last 10+ years. The book presents a visual analysis of his work accompanied by commissioned essays.

On the occasion of the launch, Lawrence Abu Hamdan will be in-conversation with Chris McCormack, Associate Editor at Art Monthly, and Fabian Schöneich, Director & Founder of CCA Berlin and Editor of Dirty Evidence, for an in-depth discussion of Abu Hamdan’s most significant works using the latest monograph as a point of departure.

The talk will be followed by a book signing and drinks reception, with copies of the publication available to purchase from Claire de Rouen.

Dirty Evidence is published by Lenz Press and Bonniers Konsthall on the occasion of his solo exhibtion Dirty Evidence, September 1–November 7, 2021, Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm, Sweden. Contributors include Natasha Ginwala, Ruba Katrib, Andrea Lissoni, Ramona Naddaff, Theodor Ringborg, Yasmine Seale and Eyal Weizman.
