The offices of Ballard Spahr LLP
1735 Market Street, 48th Floor Philadelphia, PA
Your organization is facing changing, and often unanticipated, employment practices and wage and hour exposures generated by independent contractors, leased employees and franchisees. Adding to these unprecedented exposures are impending modifications to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) which will likely change the exemption status of millions of workers.
Specialists from Ballard Spahr LLP and Aon, will discuss how these evolving concerns could be impacting your workforce and what you can do about it.
This session will enable you to:
- Identify exposures in your organization caused by the fissured workplace and changes to the FLSA.
- Consider safeguards to avoid employment practice and wage and hour claims.
- Consider enhancements and endorsements to close gaps in employment practices coverage.
