Lavender Farm Optical Retreat: An introduction to Photography Session 1

Description
This class is designed for those who want to reinforce photo basics though hands on experience in the field. We will be shooting at the beautiful Soleado Lavender Farm. This gives us the opportunity to practice exposure settings and layout creative compositions.
We will give you the tools to leave the Auto settings behind and will provide the tool to shoot in the Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or Manual modes.
We'll be working with you to reinforce:
- Camera Controls
- ISO Settings
- Depth of Field
- Focus settings
- White Balance
- Composition - Framing an interesting photograph
Any camera with the Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or Manual modes is appropriate, including DSLR, Point and Shoots, or your camera phone.
Bring your camera, smart phone and any or all of your lenses. We’ll work with what you have in your bag. Other items to have on hand; an extra battery, memory card, and your camera manual. No tripod is needed for this class.
