Can I get public transport to the venue?

Accepted Answer

Delta by Marriott Hotels, York is served by a number of regular bus routes.  Buses travelling away from the city centre stop immediately outside of the hotel.  Buses travelling towards the city centre stop on the opposite side of the road at either 'St Helen's Road' or 'Nelson's Lane'.

Question 2

Is parking available locally?

Accepted Answer

The hotel has around 120 parking spaces on site, which are free  for hotel guests and people attending this event. Please  enter your car registration number into the electronic tablet upon arrival - failure to do so will result in a parking fine.

On street parking is also available nearby.

Question 3

Can I reserve a disabled parking space?

Accepted Answer

There is a limited number of disabled parking spaces at the front of the hotel. Whilst the hotel is unable to reserve these, please do let the event organiser know when booking your ticket so they can talk through your needs and find the best solution for you.  There around120 spaces on site.

Question 4

Can I attend for just part of the event?

Accepted Answer

Whilst the event programme has been designed with employers in mind, we understand that your time on the day may be limited. Please take a look at the agenda and you're welcome to attend the session(s) that benefit you the most.

Question 5

I've reserved a ticket but can no longer attend

Accepted Answer

If you can no longer attend, please log into Eventbrite and cancel your ticket. If this is not possible, please contact the event organiser to let them know so your space can be offered to someone on the wait list.

Question 6

I have accessibility or dietary requirements

Accepted Answer

Please let the event organiser know when booking your ticket.  The venue has been chosen for its onsite free parking, level access and ability to accommodate a range of different needs.

Question 7

I want to reserve a place but my ticket type is not available

Accepted Answer

Whilst the primary audience for this event is local employers, there wouldn't be an event without our trusted partners and wider stakeholders.  If your ticket type has sold out, please contact the event organiser to discuss your situation or to be added to the reserve list.
