Interested in learning about joining the Construction industry with HabiCorps? Then this event is for you!

The construction industry remains incredibly diverse, with jobs available in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Get the hands-on experience you need to jump-start your career by training with HabiCorps!

HabiCorps is an AmeriCorps program that provides meaningful, hands-on training focused on construction trades and landscape/property maintenance. Trainees serve the community while building Habitat for Humanity homes for families in need. All HabiCorps trainees receive a living allowance and may be eligible for health care and child care benefits along with student loan forbearance. Following successful completion of the program, trainees will receive job placement assistance and an education award that can be applied to student loans or further education and training.

HabiCorps trainees work in small teams led by skilled instructors. Projects vary from new construction and complete gut rehabilitation to landscaping and property maintenance. Trainees serve 1700 hours, full-time (Monday through Friday) from September to August, earning a $20,230 living allowance over the course of the program.
