Anthology Launch Parties

AT LAST! Our gorgeous 2020 Anthology, (a) river rising: BIRDS and BLOOMS edition, will be ready for pick up on the weekend of Dec. 5-6, 2020. Hooray! Congratulations to all the writers and artists whose work is featured in this beautiful book. We are thrilled beyond measure to honor your work in this way.

Community ReadAround

For safety reasons, this year we are conducting our Community ReadAround on Zoom, Sunday, on Dec. 6, from 4-6 p.m. Writers and artists, please register to attend so we can honor you with an opportunity to read your work aloud in large- and small-group settings.

Meet + Greet and Anthology Pickup

Pick up your books beforehand OUTSIDE and in person at two different MEET + GREET locations this year: San Marco Bookstore in San Marco Square, and on the front porch at the TerraWise model home in Springfield. (Please register for your preferred location.)

At either Meet + Greet event, you will be able to meet members of our Anthology team and other artists and writers in the book—not to mention a few of our fans and supporters!

For obvious reasons, MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING will be required.

Our goal is always to use this anthology to help build stronger communities. So please help us make this a community-oriented event by:

• asking your family and friends to attend the ReadAround or Meet + Greet events to help celebrate this moment with you. It's a culmination of your own personal work, plus six years of WWf(a)C Jax in this community, four years of showcasing women's art, and two years of operating as a non-profit so we can better reach out to make the power of writing accessible to everyone. Invite them to ReadAround and Meet + Greets IF they feel safe to do that.

• inviting your friends to buy more copies of the book in person at San Marco books or online, and pass them along to others. Limited supply available.
