About this event

Have an idea for a business? Are you unsure which steps to take first to get your business off the ground? If so, Launch Central Valley has a 10-week business start-up boot camp that will provide weekly direction, instruction and coaching to have you ready to start your business by the end of it. The FPU Center for Community Transformation has helped over 80 businesses in the last year to start in Central California.

This class will run once a week from January 31 - March 28, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm on zoom. Entrepreneurs will have the option to receive individual business coaching in-person or via Zoom.

Here's what you'll get in 10 weeks:

• A business coach to walk alongside you

• Access to financial resources to help you get going

• Understanding what you bring to your business and building a team for success

• Identifying your customer, finding more of them, and keeping them

• Establishing the right incorporation for your business (LLC, Sole-proprietorship, S-Corp, Others)

• Determining your breakeven point and profitability

• Pin down your start-up costs (how much $ you need to start your business)

• How to market your product or service

• Sales channels

• Accounting and record keeping

Weekly LAUNCH Central Valley instruction will be held exclusively online. For more information, contact Carlos.huerta@fresno.edu or Jeanette.Jaurena@fresno.edu
