Big news, everyone! We're stretching our legs and moving the whole Boston operation to the intersection of the Red and Orange lines at Downtown Crossing. We'll have two—yes TWO!—whole floors at 77 Summer St.
Now that we have so much extra room for activities, we're planning the first one: an open house event on Wednesday, December 7th. Swing by to learn more about our program, ask Launch alumni questions about their experience, eat some pizza, and find out just how much one 10-week bootcamp can change your life.
One important thing to note in all of this excitement: While our location will be different, our roots remain the same. We're still every bit as dedicated to the student experience as you've come to expect. We'll be keeping the same class sizes, the same absurdly low student:instructor ratio, a curriculum that constantly evolves and changes to meet the demands of the marketplace, and the best damn Career Services staff in the solar system.
We're also offering something special to the first 20 prospective students to RSVP. Learn more by registering for your ticket.
6:30 - Welcome & Introduction from our Director of Experience
Learn all about our current curriculum straight from our Director of Experience. He'll give some general information about how Launch is run, how you'll be taught, what the day-to-day student experience is like, and what life (and your career) could look like after program completion.
6:45 - Hear from our Alumni
Learn some of the secrets to becoming a developer from the people who have done it right here at Launch Academy! Our panel of successful Launch Academy alumni will share helpful advice and lessons they've learned about becoming programmers in this discussion. They'll be hitting a few major points during the event, including how to succeed at Launch, how to break into the local tech community and how to continually build on their skills.
7:30 - Q&A Session for Prospective Students
Get your questions answered by members of our staff! We want to be a resource for you as you explore your options and learn more about our program. We'll be ready to talk about the admissions process, go into more detail or specifics about the on-campus bootcamp experience, how to prepare for the program, how Career Services works, and so much more.
8:30 PM - Event Concludes
As our schedule for the evening ends, feel free to spend some time getting to know our staff, our instructors, or our alumni. We're here to be resources - let us do that!
We hope to see you on December 7th, and can't wait to get to know you. Don't forget to register for your ticket above. If you have any questions, please let us know.
