Description

Laughapalooza 2017 is a feature packed comedy festival coming to Manhattan Kansas on October 6th and 7th! We've got multiple shows scheduled, from Stand-Up Comedy, Imrov, and Sketch Comedy! Enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown Manhattan between shows, as well as exclusive interviews, podcasts, meet & greets, and other fun comedy entertainment. The majority of our proceeds go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Riley County!

Friday

  • 8pm - Super Roast Fighter 2 Turbo: Champion Ship Edition - Roast Fighter is a comedy roast battle where comedians from all over the midwest have faced off over the last 5 months in a grueling roast competition. The Championship tournament is at Laughapalooza with $500 in cash prizes on the line. Who will come out as this years Roast Fighter Champion?
  • 10pm - Romie Lee's Blue Comedy Cavalcade - Are you looking for something a little less PC? A little closer to the edge? We've got you covered! Join us for this no-holds-barred, anything goes, blue comedy showcase. Featuring Austin Arbogast, Elijah Graves, Mary Renee, and Romie Lee. You'll need to wash your brain after this show.

Saturday

  • 1pm - The KC Improv Company! At the Wareham Opera House - If you're a fan of totally unscripted, unreheared, on the fly comedy, this show is for you!! Be a part of the fun as the troupe takes suggestions and ideas from the audience. Each bit is completely unique to this show, don't miss it!
  • 5pm - Jazz & Jokes- A fresh twist on comedy, this show combines America's two greatest contributions to the arts! It features a full jazz ensemble, starring Jack Merrywell, Brandon Patrick, Ryan Trickey, and Jim Meyers.
  • 8pm - Billy Wayne Davis LIVE! At the Wareham Opera House - As seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, TBS' Conan, and WTF with Marc Maron, Billy Wayne Davis is joining the stacked Laughapalooza line-up, bring his own southern sensibilities and humor with him.
  • 10pm - Lucha Raptor - Founders Matt Keck and Jeremy Smith of Kansas City are coming to Manhattan to bring you their hilariously esteemed "Lucha Raptor" comedy showcase. Voted as the 2nd and 3rd best (2015 & 2016 respectively) Comedy/Sketch/Improv group in Kansas City.

In addition to these shows, we'll also have entertainment between shows including music, improv, caricature artists, and more! Get your passes today, prices go UP on September 30th!

Notices:

Entry: Badges will grant you entry into all shows at the Wareham Opera House. Any shows outside of the Wareham Opera House are free to badge holders, but are limited to a first come, first served basis (depending on occupancy). Guests will be required to pick up their badest at the Wareham Opera House. Identification will be required along with your badge for each show.

Seating: While we do not have assigned seating, we do have assigned sections. If a show is beneath occupancy 10 minutes prior to start time, we will move sections forward accordingly. It is your responsibility to be at the venue promptly before showtime to ensure you get your correct seating and we maintain a timely schedule.

Individual Ticketing: Depending on each shows attendance, we may offer individual ticket sales for certain events. Please follow us on Twitter or Facebook for updates on show ticketing, or purchase an all access pass for all shows at The Wareham Opera House.

Refunds: All sales are final. Ticket sales may be transferred to another individual, but refunds will not be issued. To request a transfer, please forward your ticket receipt to info@midwestxl.com, along with the full name and email of the transfer recipient.

Video / Phones / Heckling: Under no circumstances are attendees to record or reproduce any performances in part or in whole. Any attendees caught filming or recording any performances will be removed promptly and not allowed to re-enter under any circumstances. Any individuals heckling comedians excessively and impacting the enjoyment of the show for others will be removed without question. Be kind to your fellow audience members!

Age Requirements: All events are 18+. Attendees must provide valid identification upon entry to verify they are at least 18 years of age or older. In order to purchase drinks, attendees must have valid identification to verify they are over 21 years of age. Any persons under 18 will be denied entry, and no refunds will be made. Any persons under the age of 18 consuming alcoholic beverages will be removed from the premesis without refund, and will not be allowed to re-enter under any circumstances.
