Featuring:
Ariel Elias
Ariel lives in New York City, grew up in Kentucky making her fellow Jews laugh and now travels the country putting her uniquely Jewish slant on life while making fun of herself, milennials, Jews, the South and Jews in the South.
The New York Times describes her as “a sly young comic from Kentucky.” She has written for Will Smith’s Snapchat show Will From Home, performed on the set of the TV show Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and was named a “New Face” at the 2021 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.
Matt Moyer
Matt is the comedian mayor of Harrisburg, emceeing events for local organizations and volunteering his time in community events. He also runs Local Channel 5 Ratchet New Station on social media, an interactive place where people can find out what’s going on with a dose of Moyer’s comedy. He performs at comedy clubs in the area and has opened for comedians Bill Bellamy and DJ Hughley.
Eve Emery
Eve performs at her home club, Harrisburg Comedy Zone, drawing on her experiences as an ambulance worker after she found success making her first responders laugh with her musings on a personal blog and online forums about the trials and tribulations of trying to save lives. It is, she says, cheaper than therapy.
And guest host Matt Maisel, former anchor for Fox 43.
A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit Capital Rebirth. Capital Rebirth is a Harrisburg-based 501c(3) nonprofit organization committed to uplifting and unifying Central Pennsylvania by providing community-oriented events and programs.
